Was Peter married?

I have read in the Bible that Peter had a mother-in-law. Was Peter married and does the Bible mention his wife?
 
By the very fact of having had a mother-in-law we know that Peter had been married at some point. Since the Bible does not specifically mention his wife, we do not know if she was living at the time of Jesus’ ministry or if Peter was a widower.
