I was going to ask that question about the burial place attributed for St. Joseph, but someone beat me to it. Is there any legend about St. Joseph being assumed, like Mary, into Heaven?
I wonder about that Lazarus, who the rich man could see in “the Bosom of Abraham”, which sounds like heaven. I realize this was a parable, but if Jesus would discuss something like this, before his crucifixion, it implies there were actual people there, like the Lazarus figure.
It seems like terms like before, and after, may not apply to Heaven, or purgatory, or Hell, or other places in “Eternity”. Eternity does not mean unending time, it means outside the whole “time” system. If Jesus died in, let’s say 30 AD, there would not have been any calendars in heaven or other eternal places like limbo, saying before Good Friday 30 AD, and after Good Friday, 30 AD. Limbo would not have a calendar at all. It is outside of time, like purgatory, isn’t it?
