Well, didn’t Miss Elizabeth act submissive toward “Macho Man” Randy Savage during the period in which they were both in the World Wrestling Federation? I can’t say that Miss Elizabeth said a whole lot on camera during the period in question. As far as Miss Elizabeth being a sexist, I don’t know why anyone would think she would be sexist.
Maybe I didn’t phrase my initial question quite right. A number of women’s groups criticized the Miss Elizabeth character. But that doesn’t necessarily make her sexist. If she were sexist, she would have been the domineering one, stereotyping him & belittling him.
“Isms are not good. I quote John Lenin. ‘I don’t believe in Beatles. I only believe in me.’” - Ferris Bueller’s Day OffIt’s wrestling. They have a lot of -isms that don’t work elsewhere. -Isms are part of the appeal of the sport.
She’s been dead for over 15 years. How is this relevant to today?A number of women’s groups criticized the Miss Elizabeth character.
