No, I believe he was making reference to Jim Jones and the cyanide laced grape Kool Aid he made his followers drink.

I thought it was funny. I would not have any problem saying it to members of my family that happen to be baptist. My family is very religiously mixed with Catholics, Lutherans, Methodist, Baptist, and I may be forgetting and demon or 2. I have been known to make a comment or to to them and I am called a papist and status worshiper. It not meant in a mean way. if i had been there with one of the baptist in my family I would have asked them what they would do.

My wife gets mad at me sometimes for being a sarcastic jerk. When we were at the grocery store last night, we couldn’t find the grape juice. I said “They have to have grape juice! What are the Baptists going to use at communion?”



No offense to Baptists. I was raised Baptist and still attend the church every now and then. I have respect for you guys

I am a Baptist, and I got a laugh out of it! It wasnt offensive at all, because I know you didnt say it with that kind of intent! Its good to have a sense of humor, and thats all that was! Actually, is something I may have said myself !!
