I came across a saying a few years ago that read:

“You have paid one day of your life to do what you did today?
Was it worth it?”

I put it on the mirror in my bedroom. Eventually it was responsible for me changing my job. I would look at it each night and came to the conclusion that what I had done that day wasn’t worth the cost of a day of my life.

"You have paid one day of your life to do what you did today?

Today at lunch I was going back to the office and I saw a guy I’ve known for years (he used to come in a business I managed) he now has mental problems. At first I walked another direction so as not to go by him. But I said “UPPPS” and doubled back and said Hi, Willie and he said Hi to me. Then I prayed for him and myself. Yeah so far its been worth it…but then again I hope to stop at church on the way home as 40hours is going on now.

I try hard to make each day count. And pray that I may. Yesterday was worth it as we took the 4 through 6th grade CCD kids (about60 of them) to 40hours Mass, and miracles never ceasing they were really really good and one kid who is a trouble can Sing.

That is a beautiful way of looking at it.

Also, another way is that this might be your last day, have you tried to please God with all your heart?

In Christ.

Andre.
