Hmmm. Let’s look at the bible. Here’s what Deut. 22:5 says:She says that in the Bible it says that a woman should not dress like a man and that by wearing pants it is immodest and am provoking men. How pants (not talking about painted on jeans, but normal fitting pants) could provoke men if they are men’s garments. She says that when a woman shows her figure it provokes men and therefore immodest. She also told me that she since she cannot control her daughter, she needs to control me (her words).
5 “A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.
So questions for her on this passage:
- Who has the authority to declare that pants are “men’s clothing”?
- When did they state this?
- Why should we trust their authority?
- Where in this passage does it state that this will result in lustful thoughts??
Question: where does she get this truth?
(As a male, I can’t say that I have found this to be true)
And most interesting and ODD in her thought process: that men would find woman wearing men’s clothing more lustful then women wearing women’s clothing?
