Two locked threads on this topic. I agree there is more dramatic value to the program than I previously thought. Well, their grace before meals is OK, glad that is portrayed. you know, Jews pray AFTER meals, because they feel they are too hungry and distracted to pray well before they eat.

They depict New Yorkers as loving their city, but I don’t know. Selleck’s character said, I thought, that without crime, the 35,000 cops wouldn’t have a job.

I think this series is much better than “dun, dun” SVU.
 
I like this serie too. They try to show some family values such as pray, not phone, talk, etc but it is stereotypical about catholic people.
