I read Catholics listed with something called Watchtower. What in the heck is Watchtower?

I read it with a comparison that Watchtower and Catholicism were the same thing, and that made no sense to me. And the term Watchtower Catholic was used. I wish I could find that page…

Its a publication put out by the Jehovah’s witnesses. The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society is the name of that game.
In fact, I have some here in my home. They have an “Awake” magazine too.

OK, it took me a few minutes, but I THINK I know what the reference is. The Cathecism is an authoritative source of Doctrine for the Catholic Church. The Watchtower magazine is an authoritative source of doctrine for JWs.

That is most likely what it is referring too. I remember I made a reference like that in one of the JW threads.
I made mention that the Watchtower and the CCC are like the same things. JUST because Catholics use the CCC as an authoritive source, and JW use watchtower as an authoritive source.
If you were to make comparisons between Catholics and JW you could say:
Catholics use the Bible and the CCC as authoritative sources.
JW use the Bible and Watchtower as authoritative sources.
I’ve had some JW come to my door and criticizing me for having the CCC. I like to point out to them their use of watchtower…

Their false prophet Judge Rutherford used to say in the early 1910’s “Millions now living will never die.” I reallly doubt there are a million centenarians in the world right now.
In 1972 Watchtower, they published a lead article THEY SHALL KNOW THAT A PROPHET WAS AMONG THEM in which they said that Jehovah’s Witnesses were prophets.
In 1986, in their book REASONING TOGETHER FROM THE SCRIPTURES, they said, “No. Jehovah’s [false] Witnesses are not prophets.”
Question: When did the Watchtower organization lie? Which statement is untrue?

The denial of the Trinity ought to be your primary concern.
I am aware of these things, and many more.
But, what does it matter when they dont know who Jesus Christ is?
How can you dialouge with them without this?
