Water slide with a loop

With summer closing, thought of trying this are on my mind.

 
What a great idea! I wonder what material they lined the surface with inside the loop, where there’s no water, to prevent friction.
 
Looks like they used your basic plastic sheeting for the whole slide, the stuff Home Depot sells.

Watched the loop in slo-mo, thought I’d find a sprayer attached. Nope.
I did see a hose by the loop on the ground though, so they must just spray it down periodically. Maybe a little baby oil on the plastic would work.

The inside of the loop almost has to have something stiffer than just Home Depot poly film, otherwise you would painfully feel every one of the 2x4 cross braces along the length of your spine as the bony bits were sequentially broken off.
 
Not in a million years would I go near that thing. But enjoy it if you want to. LOL
 
I’ll be honest, until I saw the Babylon Bee at the end, I had no trouble believing some church had done this…
