Curious, have you taken the ‘libertarian’ quiz? It puts you, based on a series of questions, on a particular aspect of the political specturum. Some people are surprised to find out where they fall after taking that quiz.
You mean the biased Nolan Test that puts everyone as a Libertarian?

Yes 😃

I also took the grossly inaccurate and biased political compass quiz that said Pope Benedict XVI was an Authoritarian Leftist opposite to the French President Francoise Hollande who the test called “Libertarian”. And also considered Virgil Goode to be the same as Hu Jintao and more authoritarian than Adolf Hitler.

As an amateur economist and programmer I can tell you these “tests” are rigged in a way to push a certain viewpoint. My test comes from reading literature on Conservatism and Liberalism, not taking rigged quizzes and tests 😉

want a fun test to take. Look up Mark Stevens and the No State Project and look up his political quiz. Think he has it on video. Very interesting as well as provocative and radical.
Me thinks you can handle it though.

Type the following into your search bar: worlds shortest political quiz marc stevens

and it should come up as a video. Certain to entertain. If you reflect upon it I think you will find some truth in it as well, although he is a radical.

God Bless,
Bill

Wow what a kook! Total anarchist…I was figuring he would be Paul-Qaeda, but he’s not even that.

If it makes you feel any better, Alex Jones is a guilty pleasure of mine. 😃

I believe a small part of what Alex Jones says, but he gets too much into conspiracy theories IMO. I wish he would stick to following the money of those in positions of power and revealing actions of the gov’t that are easily proven without covering the issues with his kookish rhetoric.

Glenn Beck used to be mainstream, he was threatened by George Soros to stop revealing the way that the super rich scheme and following the money of these people and reporting how they drift in and out of politics and private business.

An example would be Obama having people working for him that were involved as major players in the bailout of banks. The other party does similar stuff. So Glenn Beck was pushed out of mainstream media into the background.

Marc Stevens lost his life savings, everything, based on some government actions. That is what is driving his obsessive and relentless arguments against the legitimacy of government. I can sympathize with the guy as he lost everything, but think he lost some of his sanity in the process.

I think there is some good that these non mainstream media types can do but they cater to extremeists who are nut jobs and can’t have coherent conversations about those issues without going off on rants, etc. It lessens the credibility they may have on certain issues but it winds up getting almost everyone to dismiss everything they say on principle since they are sooo far out there. I think that it unfortunate because I don’t beleive for a second that we get the entire scoop from mainstream media. There are like 5 guys now in charge of all of mainsrtream media (media moguls that are parent companies for lots of other companies that are media companies… don’t beleive for a second you can run stories that they don’t want run on any type of a regular basis and still keep your job).

So we are left with non mainstream people like those above, but if they come across as kooks even the true and factual stuff they say gets ignored. Wish there was a way to bridge the gap…

God Bless,
Bill
