Would wearing a rosary all the time be disrespectful? My intent is for the blessed mother’s help with chastity issues. I have some sexual knots that I need help having untied. And sins of eating too much. I don’t have to eat so much to live.

I’d suggest wearing a Miraculous Medal instead. Mary gave us that medal herself to help us get grace and deal with our problems. She wanted us to wear it around our necks. You can wear it under your clothes.

Rosaries aren’t really meant to be worn. I wear mine sometimes but it’s only so I won’t lose it when I"m trying to pray and drive around on errands at once.

I have one of those! I will have to find it. Can you put it in
your pocket? I don’t have a string. If not, what about a St.
Benedict medal?

The Blessed Mother specifically asked that the Miraculous Medal be worn around the neck. I use dental floss for mine as it’s very strong and easy to replace when it wears out - we always have dental floss in the house. Just be sure to tie really good knots in the floss.

I suppose if there’s some reason you really could not wear it around the neck you could put it in your wallet.

St. Benedict is also a good saint to call upon and to use his medal, but you specifically mentioned asking for the Blessed Mother’s help, so it seems you would want to use the medal of her.

You can get really inexpensive pieces of sterling silver chain of whatever length you prefer online. I think the chain I’m using was under $10 including shipping. Then, you’ll be able to wear as many medals as you’d like around your neck. I agree with tis, a Miraculous Medal is a great choice. Add a St Benedict medal if you like. And, why not add a crucifix while you are at it?

As for wearing a rosary, there are rosary bracelets widely available. They are usually a single decade of the rosary with a clasp for your wrist.

Many Catholic stores sell rosary necklaces.

There is no reason why you wouldn’t wear one. Even if it isn’t t designed to be a necklace.

Some people find it to be a problem, but it you dont, feel free to wear it.

Maybe you might like the idea of a rosary ring. I have one and since it is on my finger, I can always see it and it reminds me to pray.

If you feel it would be a visible witnessing to Our Lord and his Blessed Mother why not? Be prepared, however, for such a brave thing to incite hatred against you because of this!
