Does anyone know of a website I could go on to ask questions to a real priest about my spiritual problems? I don’t feel comfortable talking to my own priest.
There used to be one at Catholics Online, but it doesn’t seem to be active - they could not get enough priests to staff it properly.Does anyone know of a website I could go on to ask questions to a real priest about my spiritual problems? I don’t feel comfortable talking to my own priest.
Thank yo u for your response. I didn’t know you had to make an appointment to see a preist. I always guessed you just walked in. Inless it was for something like counseling or stuff like that. There used to be one at Catholics Online, but it doesn’t seem to be active - they could not get enough priests to staff it properly.
You could also make an appointment to see a different priest from outside of your parish - maybe someone that you have been to Confession with, before.
thank you for your response. I’ve actually put in some questions there before.
No - they are extremely busy; you even have to make an appointment just to go out for coffee and have a social chat.Thank yo u for your response. This is true. Very often people walk in and want to see a priest. While there is always a priest on duty, he is often busy with other parishioners, saying mass, visiting the school, going to the hospital, etc. We usually can schedule an appointment within a hour or so for drop ins and sometimes, if the other priests not on duty are around we call upon them, but they are usually busy too. It is always best to make an appointment if you want to see a priest. No - they are extremely busy; you even have to make an appointment just to go out for coffee and have a social chat.
It sounds crazyAre you kidding me? With the shortage of priests in my area they are all busier than one armed paper hangers!! Sometimes you’re lucky to get one for Mass! It’s getting crazy!
