I was wondering if it is permitted to have a catholic wedding in a non-demoninational church by a Catholic Preist? I recently moved to a new town and got engaged and am not yet involved with my new parish. We are enrolled in Pre-cana but have yet to start.
I would love my old preist to marry us (fiance says ok) and think an ideal location is a historical chapel outside of town. (small wedding)…the fee at the parish I am a member at is double the historical chapel…plus the wait for my cathoilc church is over a year…( big wedding destination town)
If anyone has any knowledge about this…it would be very helpful…(I know outdoors isnt allowed)~
Thanks
