Weekend to Remember marriage gateway?

Hello,

My wife and I just returned from a “Weekend to Remember” by Family Life. It’s a Prosestant organization, and my wife learned about it from her church. She was ready to divorce me when we started on Friday night, but now she is happy. I’m just wondering if other Catholics have been through this marriage program? Also, how far did I stray from Catholic teachings?

I don’t know if it’s straying from Catholic teachings or not, but if it saved a trouble marriage then it deserves some respect.

I hope it did save your marriage. Do some reading in Catholic apologetics if you can’t tell how far it strayed from our Church’s teachings. At least if they were trying to preserve your marriage, they’re coherent with our Church on that point!

Your mixed-faith marriage is going to be a challenge. Pray for her conversion!
