This is what I did today and, yes, two minifigs lost their legs for my creation

Cool.

I’ve been reading a lot today. Just finished reading about the background of the civil war.

If I may suggest a book, I just started reading The Black Book by Orhan Pamuk and it is excellent!

I read his book The White Castle years ago. Always meant to read My Name is Red too.

Classics 😍. I read them whilst I was living in Saudi Arabia. I used to get a lot of reading done back then- Saudi is a very conservative country with hardly any fun places to go so I’d end up reading at home more often than not!

Cool. I saw an episode of Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations about Saudi Arabia. I’d love to try the cuisine but my pasty Irish self would probably burst into flames in that heat.

I’ve been working on this for the past two days. It’s just the top of a large tree. It’s going into the grotto of St. Benebriick, my Lego church.
I’m so bored.

Busy working in the garden. It’s a HUGE garden. Keeps me going. Always something to do out there. Between rain showers and sultry heat.

No time to get bored.

Must. See
Here’s an older thread, i need to update my photos. St Benebrick has gone through a lot of changes.

Here’s a garden I’m putting in So far i have daffodils and a rose tree, but I need more flowers. Times are tough. 😩

I’m working on a couple of graves in the back and the two small windows on the church are the confessional, which is where I need to be.
