Now, wait a minute. Do you believe everything you read? Call me cynical, but I don’t. With so much anti-Catholicism out there, I am skeptical. Besides, the alleged incident is in MALAWI, for heaven’s sake! What do we know about freedom of the press or freedom of religion (or anti-clericalism) in Malawi?

Hey, I read the New York Times. It is the most biased, left-wing, pro-Jewish, anti-Catholic newspaper out there. Why? Because it is well-written and covers a broader range of subjects than anything else I can find. Plus I want to know how the opposition views things (though for that I just need to talk to my left-wing extremist Dad).

I advise a healthy dose of skepticism in any “news” reports, especially when it comes to the anything Catholic.

LaChaira…we cannot deny there are those priests and nuns who have perverted their behaviors and broken their vows.
Yes, some priests and nuns have “perverted their behaviors and broken their vows.” Just like the rest of us, in different ways (and some in the same). Just like some public school teachers and employees, doctors, and a wide variety of other vocations. Since when did Holy Orders and vows make people no longer human? Humans make up the Church; humans sin…doesn’t make the Church any less true or any less Christ’s church.
