I don’t think they were even on this earth, I think they didn’t have a belly buttons, Adam and before the fall, they can’t get burnt, they can’t get electrocuted for example if they touched a 500kw power, they can’t get drowned, there bodies were able to fully digest food so that they left no waste.

they were
impassibility (freedom from pain)-unhurtable
immortality (freedom from death)-undiable
integrity (freedom from concupiscence, or disordered
desires)
infused knowledge (freedom from ignorance in matters
essential for happiness)

I would not state “they were” – more correctly, “they were allowed (by a conditional gift).”

Fr. John Hardon’s explanation of the gifts that God allowed Adam and Eve prior to the fall is helpful being quite concise.
PRETERNATURAL GIFTS
Favors granted by God above and beyond the powers or capacities of the nature that receives them but not beyond those of all created nature. Such gifts perfect nature but do not carry it beyond the limits of created nature. They include three great privileges to which human beings have no title–infused knowledge, absence of concupiscence, and bodily immortality. Adam and Eve possessed these gifts before the Fall.

Yes they had no belly buttons because they were not born. And yes they could not get electrocuted because there was no electricity in those days.

so if there was electricity in those days, they could get electrocuted right?

Genesis 2 tells all about Adam & Eve. Check it out! It states God created the heavens & the earth & put man in the Garden to care for the trees etc.( which were on the earth. )
They had gifts but as you know, were not smart enough to tell the serpent ( devil ) to take a hike!
So, they lost the preternatural gifts they had before they disobeyed God. 🤷 :ouch:

Let us begin with a basic answer.

I am human; therefore, I descended from humans going way back to the dawn of human history. Because I descended from humans, my very first true ancestors, traditionally known as Adam and Eve, would positively be human. 👍

Therefore, in traditional Catholicism, there is one human man (Adam) and his human spouse (Eve) who are the founders of humankind.

Anyone ever consider the possibility there could have been pre-Adam & Eve humanoid products of evolution running around with mortal souls, and God selected two and gave them immortal souls?

Maybe.

Evolution really doesn’t interest me that much (and is a disallowed topic on this system).

But whoever A&E were, they had our type of biological human bodies, which is why they subsequently died. Not The spiritual body or pnuematikon soma.

ICXC NIKA.

Sorry, that’s not what the Bible says. Genesis 2 : 7. "the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground, & breathed the breath of life into his nostrils. "

Gen. 2: 22 God made a woman from Adam’s rib.

I think you will find that the Church does not teach there were no humans before Adam and Eve. It teaches that we are all descended from Adam. These two are not necessarily contradictory.
Remember too that we should not read Genesis in a literalist way. Genesis is about the relationship between God and mankind.

Here is an extract from Cardinal Ratzinger’s Third Homily (para 49) on Genesis - Creation and Evolution:

All of this is well and good, one might say, but is it not
ultimately disproved by our scientific knowledge of how the
human being evolved from the animal kingdom? Now, more
reflective spirits have long been aware that there is no either-or
here. We cannot say: creation or evolution, inasmuch as these
two things respond to two different realities. The story of the
dust of the earth and the breath of God, which we just heard,
does not in fact explain how human persons come to be but
rather what they are.
It explains their inmost origin and casts
light on the project that they are. And, vice versa, the theory of
evolution seeks to understand and describe biological develop-
ments. But in so doing it cannot explain where the “project” of
human persons comes from, nor their inner origin, nor their
particular nature. To that extent we are faced here with two
complementary — rather than mutually exclusive — realities.
