When I was younger many years ago, I played sports. I remember one of the most valuable lessons was when two of us would get impassioned about something and argue sometimes the coach would come over.
“But He said…”.
“No he said…”.
Besides being highly attractive behavior and gaining us many dates, this would lead us to get nothing done. Some of the coaches wisdom came through
“I don’t care…shake hands and make up”.
“But…”.
“Make up”.
So we did. And everyone lived. Many things have happened since then, running water, electricity, and the internet… but one of the best lessons I learned
“Make up”
