I believe in the authenticity of the apparitions at Fatima. However i can’t help shake the feeling of something about how the secrets were revealed.
This question popped into my head:
Our Lady said that ww2 would break out during the reign of Pius XI. Given that this vital secret was revealed after the fact, e.g. when ww2 had already started and Pope Pius XI was already elected years before, is it therefore possible that Sister Lucia made it up along the way?
The reason why i asked is that i feel mentioning the details of the name of Pius XI and ww2 were too specific, especially when the secret was revealed after the fact.
And i understand this is private revelation, and that it is not necessary to believe it. But i do believe it, yet i can’t shake off the question without asking it.
