There are very few Christian-ish (?) groups that the Catholic Church (and most other denominations) would consider to have invalid baptism, primarily Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses. Catholics would question, for example, the baptismal practices and theological beliefs of Southern Baptists, but Catholics wouldn’t say Southern Baptists aren’t Christian–so it’s more than simply a matter of differences in some practices and beliefs. Belief in the Trinity is one thing that unites all Christians.Well, technically, their faith community DOES believe they are Christian, so perhaps what you are trying to say is that the Catholic Church questions their baptismal practices and theological beliefs.
If Kim Davis’s group says they are Christian, I would say at least historically speaking they are mistaken. It’s also somewhat deceptive.
