What’s the difference between a Catholic philosopher, a Catholic theologian and a Catholic scholar? I think an apologist is a bit different because I think it comes from the Greek “apologia” so apologist is like defender of the faith. But essentially what is the difference between a philosopher of Catholicism, a Catholic theologian and a Catholic scholar?

Well, Philosophy is
“the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence, especially when considered as an academic discipline.”
Theology is
“the study of the nature of God and religious belief.”
A scholar is
'a learned or erudite person, especially one who has profound knowledge of a particular subject."

Catholic Philosophy- thinking from a Catholic perspective
Catholic Theology- Thinking about God from a Catholic perspective
Catholic scholar- A scholar focusing on Catholicism.

I’m not sure there is any real-world difference among them. I mean, there are technical differences, but I’m not sure these categories would actually behave any differently.
