Well, I went on eBay and bought a old vintage mallet -
And a vintage chisel -
I’m going to keep them near abouts my bed -
so as to let God know - (and myself) that He can work on me -
to make me more smoother - etc
It was about 25 bucks in total -

Any interesting purchases - out there 😇

I am a traditional woodworker, just found your post interesting…I still use Ye olde Mallet and chisel…

I’ve been trying not to buy things. But I found a little old chipped metal statue of St. Catherine Laboure. I wanted her because I go to the Miraculous Medal Shrine sometimes and also one of my regular churches has a relic of her that they always let us venerate after the Thursday Mass.
She seems to be rather lesser known in the USA today despite everyone still wearing the Miraculous Medal.

This is a great five minute introduction -for the beginner - to watch.
I actually watched this yesterday.

I bought a new brown scapular and some rosaries and some medals.

The medals are of: St. Jude, St. Padre Pio, our Guardian Angel, and St. Therese of Lisieux.

I bought a KJV thinline Bible. It’s purple, which I like because purple is one of my favorite colours. 🙂

My latest religious purchase was a gift from the Father…my daily bread . 😄

This was my second choice - 10 bucks -
Antique Collectible Leather Wrapped

Hope that works for you…if that’s what it takes. “Take two Aspirin and call me in the morning!”

I am on a money diet and haven’ bought anything. I have home and auto insurance to pay and I owe Discover Card just under six $$bucks. Maybe next month.
