I have been told I am too scrupulous in upholding the no meat on Fridays of Lent obligation.
Since childhood, my family has not eaten any meat based soups during Lent. I know this is not flesh meat but it is a lifelong adherence. This came up when I refrained from ordering onion soup with a beef broth. Am I wrong in adhering too strictly to the obligation?
