What are our options if my wife should not get pregnant?

My wife and I have been married for two years and have two wonderful children. There were complications during the birth of my second child which nearly caused my wife to die. Since then she has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which requires pharmacological intervention. During this time she’s been told not to get pregnant. She is nervous about NFP as she doesn’t want to run the risk of becoming pregnant.
My question is, if my wife’s life is in danger from becoming pregnant, especially whilst she’s on the tablets she’s on at the moment, does The Church have provisions for these instances? Or are we just not to have sex again until such time as it is safe to do so?
Thank you,
Dadmanz.
