What are the commandments In Heaven?

Out of the 10 Commandments, how many of them do you think God wants the Saints in Heaven to follow? 🙂

The two “Great” Commandments: love God and love your neighbor.

We won’t have to “follow” commandments in Heaven. The Hebrew word for “commandment” is “word.” Jews don’t talk about the 10 Commandments, but the 10 Words. Heaven is the place where God’s word is “law” like gravity is “law” on earth. It’s just the way things ARE.

I’m pretty sure that the saints will be required to keep the odd numbered commandments and the Angels the even. Then after a few years, they’ll start arguing over which ones are more important.

To some, loving God seems to be the only thing.
what does loving God mean? can one love God without loving his neighbors?

Well, ever since the “how many angels can dance on the head of a pin” controversy, they’ve had to learn their numbers!

Um: That’s what we mean by “Communion of Saints.” No?

Interesting question. Here’s a bit of Jewish wisdom I remember reading somewhere. If you look at the commandment to love your neighbor, it ends with telling you who your neighbor is:

'Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.

To love your neighbor is to love God.
