So once we are all in heaven (hopefully) what will our relationship be with our guardian angel? Are we going to be at the Wedding Feast of the Lamb and be like, “hey, remember that time you saved me from Satan or from xyz disaster?” 🙂
In heaven, I’m sure our relationship with our guardian angels will be very close and we will be able to speak to him personally as we do now with other humans. Our guardian angels are such good friends of ours, always watching over us and never leaving our sides whether we are awake or asleep or go here or there, inspiring us with good thoughts and preventing evils, guiding us to our eternal home. I need to pray to mine more often.

It’s also not declared false by the Church, which leaves it open for belief or disbelief. And given that it was taught by St. Thomas, and it makes a lot of sense, I don’t see any reason whatsoever to disbelieve it, since the vast majority of what he did teach was confirmed by Church teaching.
His disbelieve in the Immaculate Conception was not later confirmed by Church teaching.

My point in saying that is people should stick to what the Church actually teaches because too often what is not taught by the Church but is only the opinion of someone else tends to be stated by some people as fact.

Just because something was “taught” by Aquinas does not make a teaching of the Church. If such things are not then or later confirmed by an actual Church teaching then that should tell us something.
