The Episcopal church is the American province of the Anglican communion. There’s alot to get into if you want specifics. On the surface, the beliefs are about 85%- 90% in line with the Catholic church. The differences are that Episcopalians do not have the pope as their leader and they believe that the Bible is authority number one followed by Tradition and Reason in that particular order. Most Episcopal churches are very similar in structure and set up to Catholic churches. Lots of similarities all the way around.Dear BrewMax, could you perhaps provide me more information regarding Episcopal church? I am not from the US, so I do not know anything about Episcopal Church. Off course, I do not mean to open any argument. I just want to learn more. I asked the same thing about the Mormon and the Amish community in another thread.
