Has anyone seen the infamous “Blasphemy Challenge”?
Watching these kids made me sick in the stomach. Especially the “one catch” on the challenge’s website.

Isn’t it time for us Christians to stop debating each other and work hand in hand against the enemy out there who is gaining momentum while we squabble over Petra & Petros? Jesus’ prophecy of John: 17 is being fulfilled. As long as We Christians remain divided, the world out there will not believe that Jesus is the son of God and that he was sent by the Father. This “blasphemy challenge”, the success of the “DaVinci code” and the recent “discoveries of gospels and ossuaries” rest my case!

We have received a great gift from Jesus.

We have new hearts and new spirits.

I think that we need to rejoice in those great gifts.

I think that they are so great that we do not understand just how powerful God made us.

We need to love to know God.

That is eternal life to love and thus experience/know God.

So let us love all.

We are all brothers of the same FATHER!

We are a new creation.

May the peace of our Lord be with you.

Agreed. Our common enemy is not of flesh and blood.

Let’s resolve to do two things:
  1. Protestants should repent, end their rebellion, and come home.
  2. We Catholics should repent for our part in the divsion and embrace them with open arms and open pews.
There will be an empty seat next to me at mass tomorrow morning…who would like to take it?

May the peace of our Lord be with you.

First, the authors of the Blasphemy Challenge obviously believe in God, because they say there is a hell. And they want to win souls for the devil. Next they are denying the existence of the Holy Spirit, and confusing that with blaspheming Him, which of course, as Catholics know, is the sin that cannot be forgiven, (final impenitence), not just denying Him.

Yup, they are heretics, and the video is scary, but they really don’t have their facts straight, do they?

I saw something about this on the news (MSNBC I think- I’m not sure) a few weeks ago. One of the young men on the show said he was raised Catholic. Learn the Divine Praises, which are an act of reparation for blasphemy. Pray them often. Other than that, don’t act offended- people who do these things want attention. They seem to like the idea of hell now, but they won’t when they get there. Pray for them, and all who blaspheme God.
