A child continually suffering from divorce 6 years now. Parents are so bitter towards each other. The Child is in the middle all the time. THIS IS ALL TOO FAMILIAR! So as a Child you can tell me all is going to be fine. It will be fine. However my question is what are we going to do for the children now?! This could be critical towards their relationship with Good Trinity. As a Church the kids should be 1. So what are we going to do with these poor children being ripped apart by there parents?

Unless we know of a way to help the parents and prevent them from a divorce, the only thing I think we can do is pray for them. I am far from knowing what it’s like to be a child in the middle of a divorce, but many people in my family have been divorced, or are in the middle of a divorce. The children are never happy, and a couple of my cousins now suffer from anxiety and stress because of their parents divorce. No child should ever have to deal with that. I think, if you really want to divorce your husband or wife, you should wait until your children are grown up and are moved out of the house. That way, it wouldn’t affect them as much. Yes, their parents would be separated, but there wouldn’t be a custody and/or money issue. I am by no means supporting divorce, because I do not agree with it. Unless the spouse is being abused or threatened, I see no need for a divorce. Fights and disagreements can be worked out, whether you keep it between you and your spouse, or if you seek guidance and therapy through your Priest, or a specialist.

Make them read the book How it feels when parents divorce by Jill Krementz
And pray.
