The first 2 examples are the result of the CC’s stance on it’s supreme destructive power over anything that does not, or will not conform to the centuries old doctrines of the “forefathers” etc… etc… The second 2 quotes are the birthing of it. Oh and this is just but a very small example of the history of the church…what it has represented, what it has fostered…thereby what is has become. It’s your church…and this is what it is built on… Does it represent anything good? Of course …but so does yoga…which doesn’t happen to proselytize, witness, righteously judge, and condemn people however nuanced it is. There is an underlying perversity of power that has grown and grown within western religion, and it is no wonder. Let me inform you of something…when you “witness” to someone…proselytize, send off your missionaries to other lands, who have their own soverign intellect and freedom…You in effect UNDERMINE them…it is offensive,disgusting, and descriminatory. It relegates people to second class citizens…implying they are not “as enlightened” as you…somehow a little bit “pagan”…going to hell etc…Its the same reason we are having the struggle with religion in schools…western religious folk can never understand this idea…but it’s all part of their character I suppose…part and parcel as to why they sold out their own intellect and soverign self to a dogmatic system based on fear and loathing…and it sure isn’t Las Vegas…

Are you another intellectual who feels compelled to enlighten those who you deem to be less intelligent than you? Do you then engage them in pre-planned debates where you have already mapped out your potential strategies and responses in order to “prove” the superiority of your argument?

Have you spent countless hours reading everything you could get your hands on and then waiting for the hapless believer to go by so that you could pounce unexpectedly like a robber on the road to Samaria? Are you here because of a hatred of Christianity and a projection of your own bigotry onto the religion while you hide behind a facade of “objective scientific curiosity?”

When a Christian commits murder he goes **against **his belief system and therefore is in disobedience. When an athiest commits murder he does not, because there is no objective system to disobey–except himself (which would be relative). Therefore, an athiest who thinks murder is morally fine acts in line with what he believes.
