I am very partial to 1 John.

I use a one year bible reading program, so it is nice to get them all… it is really hard for me to choose other than the one I have noted above, because they all have a special place in my life.
“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”***

Tobit. I love when St Raphael reveals himself saying “I am Raphael, one of the seven who stand before the throne of God” (something to that effect). I love the love story, the healing, and all the human emotions.
