The ones in bold (catholic truth scotland and the redemptorists) are both Scottish sites. They both have a blog for discussion and news, accessible through the main pages. Although Scots-centric, they do have many international readers and contributors and cover Catholicism generally.

The transalpine redemptorists (“Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer”) are based on a monastery island (Papa Stronsay) in the Orkney Islands, Scotland. Their home is Golgotha monastery. I would really like to go on a retreat there sometime.
