I looked microorganism world through the microscopes and saw around at least billions of tiny
ones which are just like the bacteria of the first group of bigger ones. It is almost impossible to get rid off all of them.

Almost everybody knows someone else in the family or friends got infected, hospitalization or dead.

Experts say the infections are double every two months. Do your own math to find out our fate in future.

Please add your ideas to save our lives besides of the prayers.

Avoid breathing in air that someone has just breathed out. Wash hands after touching things that someone else has recently touched. Eat good food, get some exercise, and get enough sleep.

Be prudent and don’t worry too much. Most people survive covid-19.

This tactic absolutely works.

What is perfect quality and means you think?
what is its priority to the disinfection?
How far “breath out” can travel compare to the ash dusts from the wild fires in CA?

Don’t underestimate the effectiveness of good everyday hygiene. Washing hands regularly. Follow the medical advice that’s been universally given to avoid infection. I’m known as being a moderate germaphobe but I accredit that with having avoided so many colds, flu’s and bugs that have passed through my household. I’ve never had the flu and haven’t thrown up since 1993 when a whole wedding party got food poisoning after a wedding.

Nothing is perfect, but face masks help, distance helps, outdoors is better than indoors, a few people is better than a crowd, a short time is better than a long time, and it is suspected that loud vocalization (talking, singing) and heavy breathing (exercise) can deliver more virus from someone who has it.

I don’t know for sure, but I don’t think the virus travels very far, like hundreds of meters, because I think the virus is neutralized when it dries out. Also sunlight kills it.

The high quality face mask can filter out 1-2 microns objects. The size of average virus is 1/10-1/20 micron or 10, 20 times smaller than the filter.
The droplets are 1/100 micron!

If ash dusts are seen 15 miles away, so do micro organisms. I experienced that world like billions stars on the night sky. A tiny mistake, they will appear every where and the lens are contaminated at once.

Snow, rain, fog, garden cooler sprayer and alike can bring them down to the ground or lower levels. So, you can find out another tactic in the large scale.

I am making a new mask base on the strategy
“avoid breath in from others breath out”.
Can cost less than total of medical masks use.

I maybe need an extra ordinary bluetooth microphone to amplify the voice for conversation.
The present polyester face masks should not be a permanent solution with imperfect quality and protection.

Misconception: The purpose of the recommendation to wear masks is so that people who may not know that they are infected don’t spread the virus. It is not meant to prevent people from getting infected. In fact, masks may increase your risk of getting infected because people keep touching the mask and their hands are contaminated.

The labs tested the paper napkin can eliminate extra 10% virus per layer, so I always added a folding napkin or two layers inside my face mask. It costs few pennies.

Hygiene, social distance (not close with a family members either) and mask. Sometimes medical mask or FFP3 with filter. If I am going out with someone to caffee then we are sitting outside distanced from next table.

I am in a risk group and some people around me so…

Also, prayer, trust in God and rational thinking when doomsday prediction knock on my ears.

Yes, last week I decided to enter Starbuck to get a cup of iced cacao since Feb lockdown! So sad to see empty tables.

I felt great, delicious taste while the weather is too warm.

After reviewing, the truth is

Mask <95% filter is flaw
Hygiene is insufficient cover
Distance is flaw
QC is nix, flaw.

So, the believers and the economy got what is flaw or junk in deed and it would not discriminate the political point of view.

What is new strategy now?

We don’t need a new strategy. We already have strategies that work. Just look at countries or states that are doing well, and those that are doing poorly, and take your pick.

it works to flat the curve, but could not stop.
About 20% healthcare front line workers infected in 4 months in Mar-July. We saw only 60% asymptomatic Covid but not all 40% presymptomatic ones.

Official result is the infection is double every two months. This means, in line near programming, by
next July-September, almost every adults about 290
millions active population are infected, and 100% doctors and nurses before that.

Additionally after the warm weather finish by Oct, the virus would possibly be more miserable.

We need new strategy to change now quickly.

This is how I think about this, @toddy…

The Covid-19 virus is a form of a Corona virus.

Corona viruses have already been with us for a long time.

They cause the common cold, and influenza.

This is just a question to think about, and you don’t have to give an answer if you don’t want to.

How do you try and take care of yourself, when trying not to get sick/ill from a cold/flu?

We’re supposed to avoid large crowds during flu season, we’re supposed to wash our hands often or use hand sanitizer when we aren’t able to wash them.

We should get enough rest/sleep, and eat the best that we can.

We should also avoid being around people who are ill with a cold or the flu, especially those of us who have a low/weak immune system.

The medical community is telling to do this already for these types of illnesses, but now for Covid-19, they’re also telling us to wear masks and to keep our distance from others, socially.

Talking to a friend of mine who is a nurse this week. She said one of the physicians she works for said the flu season this winter in the Northern Hemisphere may be less severe than usual since so many people are wearing masks, washing their hands, avoiding crowds, etc. That makes sense.

Any Southern Hemisphere CAFers…has that been your experience this year during your winter flu season?

That’s encouraging news. Hope that it will also hold true for this side of the world. Maybe, if we stay on our best behavior!

Yes! Please God.
I live in a rural area, each time I drive into my local little city to shop I feel as if someone’s going to laugh at me and say,’ you don’t need to wear a mask anymore, don’t you know it’s all over ?” 😅 It’s still a novelty to me ,but gosh they’re stifling! I can’t imagine what it will be like in Summer.
There’s a $200 fine if you don’t wear one .
If I didn’t turn the tv on, there would be no evidence of a pandemic where I live .Apart from lack of work.

In Sydney, July is the coldest month, with an average high-temperature of 16.3°C (61.3°F) and an average low-temperature of 8.1°C (46.6°F). August is about 50-69F.

Covid returned to Melbourne in July and curfew was issued on Aug 4.

Cases have risen in Auckland, New Zealand since July.

You all decided. I myself suspect SAR-Covid is possibly like flu virus, nasty in the winter.

Presently, fatality ratio for both are equal about 1.5% in US.

Common sense. Our mothers have told us since we can remember, wash your hands, don’t pick your nose, drink your OJ.
