Besides religion/God/Jesus, what are your passions in life? And how do you go about pursuing your passion? For me, I kind of struggle with this, because I don’t know exactly what my passion is. I really have a passion/desire for helping others, which is why I am going back to school to possibly pursue nursing, and I also am into nutrition/health, and art. But, I am not really living out my passions daily. My life seems unfulfilling, and i don’t know what to do. So, just looking to get inspired!

Weightlifting, American football and rugby, reading…

Passion might be too strong of a word, but a couple of hobbies I really like include playing strategy/euro board games and photography.

Besides sharing our faith, it’d have to be FOOD!

Well my faith is the only thing that warrants the title passion 🙂 . Next in line is probably helping people and art; painting, I enjoy painting when I have a spare moment and it is generally religious paintings. I also like reading.

Besides my family, I’m a film-maker by profession/passion/hobby.

I have no passions because I stay at home playing computer games. All my obejcts of interest are only to take my time. Because none of them I managed to make them in real life.

Yeah, I don’t like the word “passion” either unless we are talking about a marital relationship or the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Or passionfruit.

I have literally dozens of things I enjoy doing, from travel to needlework to looking after the cats. My biggest regret is I can only do a tiny fraction of things at a time on top of work and chores.

Be a great Catholic mother to my children and hopefully marriage. In addition, continue to provide Christian Book Fairs as an alternative to Scholastic secular book fairs for Christian Schools…encourage children and our communities to read Christian inspired literature. Ignatian Contemplation of God’s word.

I enjoy photography, quality time with my nearest and dearest, fishing, reading and I do like to cook (baking especially).

There are many activities that I enjoy, but if we’re going to exclude religion/God/Jesus then I would say that I have no passions because religion/God/Jesus is what I’m truly passionate about. The rest is just details. Nothing else I do escalates to that level.

I like art. I study it, practice techniques, make it… whatever your passion is, spend at least a little time every day nurturing your skills and knowledge. Plan to do it rather than just hope you will. Join classes and clubs about it, read books, watch movies/videos, go to events and museums, hang or with others who share your passion.

I enjoy reproducing the paintings of the great masters on the heads of pins. Each painting takes about a year to complete using a microscope and tiny homemade tools and brushes made from hairs plucked from a housefly’s back.

Family and video games. I also enjoy reading. Besides that the Faith I usually too busy working to do much else.

Daydreaming … yeah, I know, not really something the Church advises us to pursue. But it’s a passion…
