"America needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe v. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. It has sown violence and discord at the heart of the most intimate human relationships. It has aggravated the derogation of the father’s role in an increasingly fatherless society. It has portrayed the greatest of gifts – a child – as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the independent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters"
And, in granting this unconscionable power, it has exposed many women to unjust and selfish demands from their husbands or other sexual partners. Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being’s entitlement by virtue of his humanity. The right to life does not depend, and must not be declared to be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or a sovereign." (Mother Theresa – “Notable and Quotable,” Wall Street Journal, 2/25/94, p. A14)

Everything she said is true, she certainly knew how to hit the nail on the head didn’t she? Such a prayful, holy woman ought to teach us all that we need to “wake up” and start listening to the Word of God. When will we ever all learn, as Fr. Frank says, that until we learn to care the most about the least among us, (put them first)that nothing else we do even matters?!(paraphrase).

A PRAYER FOR LIFE–O GOD, giver of LIFE help us to DO OUR PART to save PRE-born BABIES from DEATH by abortion, and to AID PREGNANT MOTHER"S IN DISTRESS, please strengthen us in our efforts to obtain an amendment to OUTLAW abortion in the United States. Amen

That’s something you’ll never hear from the msm.

Mother Theresa was amazingly insightful about abortion and it’s effect on society. I think she is right on the money. I have a static cling window sticker on my van with a quote from her. *“It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish.” * Sometimes people are surprised by it, but it is so shockingly the truth, that you can’t argue with it. Dr. Phil has nothing on Mother Theresa when it comes to “telling it like it is”!! 👍

On one of her visits Mother Teresa was once asked by a reporter who are the poorest people on earth. Much to his surprise, she responded how she considered Americans to be the poorest because while many had great material wealth they suffered from a great spiritual poverty. Not hard to imagine what she meant when worldly wisdom teaches it is a ‘human right’ to choose to kill our offspring.

It should never be forgotten that her strength came from hours spent everyday in Eucharistic adoration and whenever she wasn’t busy, in transit for example, she continually prayed the rosary. She is an example of the importance of arming ourselves first and foremost with prayer. Without it we are just spinning our wheels in the mud of human depravity and despair.
