Uh…its Physics Jay. I mean, without getting into it too much…
 
The “dual nature of light” refers to the fact that light behaves both as a wave and as a particle, based on the phenomenon being observed. This is basic high school level physics which you probably didn’t take. Don’t worry about it though. The light behaves just fine without our understanding it. Just as God behaves just fine without our understander Him/Her.
