I know Douay Rheims was the norm for Catholics in English speaking countries but was it ever translated into German or did they have other translations?

I remember being told that, prior to the present-day Einheitsbibel (“Unity Bible”), there had never been a single standard German translation in Catholic use. One Catholic Bible in widespread use, prior to Vatican 2, was Joseph Franz von Allioli’s translation, but there were others as well. This translation is nowhere near as old as the Douay Rheims. It was first published in the 1820s, with revised editions in the 1830s.
