I’m trying to find some good books for help with PCOS as I’ve still got a lot to learn about my brand new diagnosis. 😛 Any suggestions? 🙂

Hi Kevinsgirl,
I have a few that I thought were helpful. I’ll take a look at my bookshelf and send you a PM. In the meantime, here’s a bump to your post in case another person would like to offer a suggestion.

Hey Chovy, my sis has PCOS and I am always on the look out for resources to help her…would you mind posting the books here?

I have heard that Fertility, Cycles, and Nutrition is a good one… anyone confirm that?

Yes, that is a great book. A lot of dealing with PCOS (in my experience) has to do with changing diet. It isn’t the end-all be-all or anything, but it can help. Often in the early stages of PCOS when the symptoms aren’t as pronounced…at least that is how it was for me.

I am more advanced in PCOS now, so the same dietary modifications aren’t helping as much. But they did help a lot when I was 5 years younger and only had had 1 child.

I will search for the name, but there is an Australian doctor who wrote a book that I borrowed from the library when I first found out I had PCOS…I’ll see if I can find the name of it and post later.
