What can you tell me about Francis Beckwith?

He returned to Roman Catholicism in 2007, but he also says he considers himself an Evangelical. I’ve come across a couple of books he wrote, but I haven’t read them. From what I hear- which is somewhat limited- his influence and readership is far greater among Evangelicals than it is among Catholics. Can anyone confirm or deny this? It’s just something I’ve heard.

Francis Beckwith is another high-profile convert from Evangelicalism to Catholicism. Others include Robert C. Koons, Tony Blair and Newt Gingrich.

Beckwith was the president of the Evangelical Theological Society and a professor of philosophy at Baylor University.

Technically, he is a revert, but his return to Catholicism shook the foundations of the Evangelical theological community because many in that group looked up to and respected Dr. Beckwith.

Beyond this, I no nothing of Beckwith. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
