I am the webmaster for my Student Catholic Center’s website, www.teamnewman.org I was interested in having a section of “What Catholics Believe”. This is very important as it is an evangelization tool for our center. Please post any ideas here. I am unsure of what to put, and I need help :banghead: Please put your :twocents: in

Thanks so much, in advance,
Tim

Well certainly links to the Vatican website, the USCCB website and a good version of the Catechism of the Catholic Church with a usable search engine. Then you’d want links to Catholic.com and this board, of course. As well as RelevantRadio.com, AveMariaRadio.com and EWTN.com

Once you have those on your side bar, you may want to feature one site per month, pulling a current event story as discussed on these sites - you’d post the original topic, pull excerpt quotes reflecting various viewpoints on the topice from different sites, having the reader click on the link to the referenced source so they can learn more if they’d like. That draws them to the site itself where they’d likely come across other information they didn’t even know they were interested in…and snap they’ll be hooked just like we here on the forums got hooked! Truth is addicting (in a good way) 😉

Sounds great, and I do have links to most of these website, maybe I’ll put up the others, but I’m looking for text. These websites are all in our “links” section, so for this section, I’m looking for a short description of what Catholics believe to explain this to non-Catholic Christians that visit the site and people of other faiths and people of no faith

Tim

Please check out the website to get a better idea of what we already have. Thanks!
