Peace be with you!

I don’t have cable now, but when I move into my apartment in a month I will. Does anyone know what channel EWTN is in Oregon? Comcast is the company.

In Christ,
Rand

Looks like it is channel 232. That means you will need digital to get it.

Dangit!:crying:
I have Comcast here, they have EWTN on 291, but they have a local cable channel on 2 that has some local programming that interrupts the EWTN feed.

At least it’s available to you . . . here, we’ve been battling for years to get Comcast to carry EWTN . . . petitions… letter writing … phone call campaign . . . had a group visit the local office. . .even sent the manager of local comcast flowers . . . to no avail . . . so I have to watch on computer… .and keep on pleading the case. . .

Call your cable or satellite provider . . . the actual station number will depend upon your carrier and area.

If your provider doesn’t supply EWTN, use the call as an opportunity to request that they carry it in the future!

If you get DISH TV, it will be channel 261. It’s well worth the money.

I don’t reply to my own posts, but . . as an update. . . our local cable company has just (within the last week) begun to offer Eternal Word Television!!! It’s only available by box (at an extra charge) but it IS THERE!!! The story of the widow before the unjust judge is appropriate in this case. A few Catholics kept calling and calling and calling over a period of YEARS, and now, at last, EWTN is there for Catholics and non Catholics to channel surf across, and perhaps, encounter the truth and beauty of the Catholic faith in the privacy of their own homes. . . To all who fought this battle in this area, thank you! To the EWTN folks who fought the battle, thank you! And to those who are fighting the battle in their own areas, there IS hope! Thanks be to God!

In the portland metro area I dont know about TV, but there is
88.3 FM KBVM (Blessed Virgin Mary) radio homepage KBVM.com

or if you have a fast internet you can see live TV, live radio and previous shows on EWTN.com and schedules

My cable company doesn’t offer EWTN either. Since I have a broadband connection to the Internet (DSL), I can watch their television shows on my computer. I can also listen to EWTN radio via the Internet as well.
