I have Comcast here, they have EWTN on 291, but they have a local cable channel on 2 that has some local programming that interrupts the EWTN feed.Dangit!:crying:
I don’t reply to my own posts, but . . as an update. . . our local cable company has just (within the last week) begun to offer Eternal Word Television!!! It’s only available by box (at an extra charge) but it IS THERE!!! The story of the widow before the unjust judge is appropriate in this case. A few Catholics kept calling and calling and calling over a period of YEARS, and now, at last, EWTN is there for Catholics and non Catholics to channel surf across, and perhaps, encounter the truth and beauty of the Catholic faith in the privacy of their own homes. . . To all who fought this battle in this area, thank you! To the EWTN folks who fought the battle, thank you! And to those who are fighting the battle in their own areas, there IS hope! Thanks be to God!At least it’s available to you . . . here, we’ve been battling for years to get Comcast to carry EWTN . . . petitions… letter writing … phone call campaign . . . had a group visit the local office. . .even sent the manager of local comcast flowers . . . to no avail . . . so I have to watch on computer… .and keep on pleading the case. . .
