If Jesus were to come back to Earth, what church would he attend?

There are so many topics on CAF that it is difficult not to repeat any. I hope we don’t have to resort to doing a search each time we want to post a new subject.

The One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic one he founded 2000 years ago!

Well, He already attends any Church were two or more are gathered in His name. But He is uniquely present in the Catholic Church in the Eucharist.

It’s a moot question though. When He comes back, we’ll all know the truth and we’ll all be attending the same Church. 😃

I do. I think it’s a good idea. Otherwise we’ll end up with a dozen threads on the same subject.
 
I appreciate your answers; if you are a Catholic who believes that the Catholic Church was founded by Christ then that is the correct answer.

I posted the same question on a Catholic Board on Beliefnet and was flamed for asking a “loaded question.”

From the Catholic perspective, the question isn’t “What Church would Jesus attend?” it’s “What Church is He already present?” For Catholics, He’s at every Mass.

i attend “Our Lady of the Mattress” every night and here that rousing homily from Fr. Sheets or Pastor Pillows. 😃
 
I think Jesus would be out at one of the Missions. Maybe even a street mission on skidrow.

When Jesus returns in Glory, there will no longer be any churches. We’ll either go with him to Heaven for eternity or we’ll go Heck.
 
He is always attendant in the one he founded. The One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.
 
I’m glad so many people have already posted what I was going to… the Christ IS ALREADY “in attendance” at every Catholic Church in the world every moment of every day in the Eucharist…

But would also like to remind everyone that He is fully present in the Eucharist just as he is (also) in the Word (shared in the Liturgy of the Word at every Mass)… and thus in every church that proclaims Him / His Word.

As Catholics, we are simply blessed with the fullness of His presence.
