Thanks. So as reader Easter morning, to blend in with the vestments and decorations, I could wear a white blouse with a gold scarf?

Our cantor this morning was wearing a red that exactly matched the red that Father was wearing and the altar cloths and banners. It looked so nice and “pulled together.”

Has anyone ever seen silver vestments?

I’ve seen plenty of gold.

I’ve seen shiny white (like the white vestments on EWTN).

I’ve seen what Wikipedia calls “Lenten Array” (like a creamy white).

I’ve never seen silver.

Yep. I have a very nice silver with red trim. It’s a typical ecclesiastical brocade but instead of the usual polyester threads for the embroidery it’s silver-colored threads on a white “background”, so it’s not entirely silver.
