What colour is God?

Hello,
My two children ages 5 and 4 came home after playing outside with friends and said that their friends said God is white. My children are black. We live in Ireland where they were born. But we the parents are from Africa. How do l explain this? (shrug)

Hi,

God is pure spirit and has no color, except for Jesus who also has a human nature and was a Semite. God created all the colors that we have. It was His idea to create people of various colors. Each one of us is the exact color He had in mind when He created us. So if some doesn’t like your color, they can blame God. But they had better not–if they know what’s good for them!
