What constitutes a valid philosophy?

One that is logically based in truth, insofar as we can ascertain truth.
 
One that has no holes in it.

That rules out most philosophical systems.
For example: Hegel talked about “thesis-anithesis-synthesis”

So how does that work? What’s the engine that drives the system? 🤷
