What areas of land comprise the Land of Canaan in our modern geographical boundaries?

Primarily Lebannon and modern day Israel but it also included parts of the Gaza strip, and the West Bank.

Ancient “Canaan” extended approximately from the Mediterranean to the Jordan river (east-west) and from Gaza to the Lebanon (north-south). The land promised to Abraham’s descendants was quite a lot larger than that, stretching south to the Red Sea, east all the way to the Euphrates, and north as far as Damascus (I think).
