Does anyone know what denomination the characters are in the horror movie Annabelle?
At first I assumed they were Catholics, they talked about praying a Hail Mary for your sins and such.
But what confused me was the scene where the girl confesses her sins to a nun (I thought you only confessed your sins to a priest) and the nun gives her a penance. So does anyone know which denomination this is or is the movie just misrepresenting Catholicism?
