Hello.

I gave my dogs each an indestructible chew toy for Christmas. One is a doughnut shape and one of our dogs came up to us with it in his mouth while it covered up his whole face. He looked like a doughnut with a dog body jumping around. Our other doggie said thank you, in her manner of speaking, jumped up on the bed and crawled under the covers. She set her toy down on the floor right after I gave it to her.

The rabbit got an ugly Christmas sweater to match his attitude problem.

Plenty of food and water because I’m not home for Christmas.

Our dogs are getting a special extra meal. It seems to be what they like best.

Used wrapping paper and leftover bits of curling ribbon; the cat enjoys the simple things at Christmas.

He did get a cat condo for his birthday. 😂

Lots of love and attention for my Beagle.

The cat I renewed the peace treaty with him, which is basically he stays away from me and I away from him.

I’ll probably give everybody a couple pinches of catnip apiece later. I am celebrating my first anniversary with one cat who I met last Christmas Eve when he showed up on my back porch in a very agitated state wanting something to eat just as I was on my way out to Midnight Mass. He turned out to be an abandoned pet who had been living in the neighbor’s garage, as none of the neighbors wanted to go the extra step of adopting him, so I did.

The dog got flavored Milk Bones. The outdoor kitties got canned food on top of dry. Our rooster got eggs and peaches (his fav foods). The indoor kitties will get their prezzies later.

We, too, acquired an unexpected cat in mid-2016, when she started spending the night on top of a stack of old packing cases on our back porch. At first she would disappear during the daytime, to keep out of range of the dogs, who all sleep indoors. By now she has gained a certain degree of acceptance among the dogs, although not all of them were equally welcoming, and we still don’t let her come indoors, for her own safety.
