What do all those letters mean?

Please can anyone suggest a website where I can find out the meaning of those letters that come after the names of those who belong to a religious order?
I only know the meaning of too few: OFM, MSpS, SJ, LC but there are so many more I get confused! :whacky:

I would like to know if they are the same In English than in Spanish, and if not, where can I find them in Spanish, if it is not too much to ask.

Here is a good list.
It can be a bit misleading in some areas because for some parts they have the initials attributed to a few individual congregrations listed with the initials where it actually applies to a broader group.
For example O.S.F. that have for: Franciscan Brothers or Sisters, Franciscan Missionary Sisters for Africa, Franciscan Sisters of Siessen, Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, N.Y., Franciscan Sisters of Mill Hill, School Sisters of St. Francis.
The initials actually stand for Order of St. Francis. Many Third Order Regular Franciscans use these initials or T.O.R.
Regardless of this, it is about the most complete list I’ve seen on the Web.
