In addition to that, it is also quite miraculous that they never contradicted any point of doctrine in the Catholic faith - most Catholics, even very devout, and even adults who know their faith reasonably well, if they were under a spotlight the way these kids were, would make a misstatement, or exaggerate, or minimize something - but these kids never once did that.
GREAT answer, and the rest as well, which I edited for space reasons.

because the apparition-Mary seems to be different in character from the Biblical one:
Probably because the ‘humble woman who did not stand out in a crowd of the Bible’ Mary IS a different person to the Queen of Heaven who is worshipped by the Angelic Host. 👍

Ok,
Probably a question all Catholics have been asked a thousand times.
If Mary was ever virgin how do you explain her other children such as James and Jude? Were they also born of the Holy Spirit and not the sons of mortal man? If so would we not have multiple messiah’s?
What is your church position.

If you do a word study on the names of the “brothers” of Jesus, using a reasonably good Concordance, you can figure out the names of their fathers - not one of these “brothers” has a father named “Joseph.” Two of them are the sons of Alphaeus, and I think the other two are the sons of Joses, are they not?

Also, none of them is listed as a son of Mary, so even if they were sons of Joseph (which is not indicated) they could be his by another wife, either a previous wife, or one who lived with him concurrently with Mary, although personally, I consider it doubtful that Joseph ever had any children of his own, and it seems unlikely that he would have taken a second wife.

Keep in mind that the term translated as “brother” simply means “near male kinsman.” They were most likely cousins, and given Jesus’ tendency to call everyone His brothers and sisters, it is just as likely that they were called “brothers” just for being His disciples, in the same way monks who live in community call each other “brother” even if they are of entirely different races.

sandmountainsli;1604708 I believe the Romists and Protties will agree that the Book of Mormon is NOT part of the canon.:
Romists ?? Is it too dificult to use Catholic Church or too easy to be offensive? Protties?
